The Turkey Sausage Veggie Bake is one of Mysfam Cottage’s favorite recipes, but it can easily be changed to be a vegan/vegetarian recipe with a few changes. Considering that I overindulged in a few too many Christmas cookies I thought a lighter recipe was a great way to start the New Year. This recipe works great as a veggie side or a full meal for meat free Monday. The serving size is great for a light lunch, but I usually half a serving as a side veggie.
The year is winding down I’ve been thinking about the past eight months. So far, I’ve lost almost 100 lbs because I didn’t want to have to pay extra for my flight when my BFF and I took our Hawaii trip. The trip may have been postponed, but it was the catalyst to behind my determination to lose weight. I wanted to share some of the things I’ve learned so far that have helped me.

For me, the endorphins released after a good solid workout, that runner’s high everyone is always talking about…
The first anniversary of Mysfam Cottage is just starting to peak over the horizon, and we’ve celebrated our first Thanksgiving at the Cottage. Our families are either scattered across the U.S. or celebrating the holiday with other familial branches, so while our household may be small in number, it is not small in friendship and sisterhood.
Soon I’ll be sharing the adoption stories of all three of the girls, but it would be wrong of me not to start sharing photos before then. Boo is the eldest of the Mysfam Cottage furbabies. All three were adopted…in some form or another.
Soon I’ll be sharing the adoption stories of all three of the girls, but it would be wrong of me not to start sharing photos with you all before then. YinYang is the middle child of the Mysfam Cottage furbabies. All three were adopted…in some form or another.
Soon I’ll be sharing the adoption stories of all three of the girls, but it would be wrong of me not to start sharing photos before then. Twyla is the youngest of the Mysfam Cottage furbabies. All three were adopted…in some form or another. Twyla was adopted from the Humane Society. She is our loving, hilarious, crazy, energetic, chair-stealing, dirt-loving, waggy-tailed, bed hog of a pup-pup dog.
